Easy Tzatziki

Easy Tzatziki

Tzatziki is an easy cucumber Greek sauce served with grilled or fried meat also served as a dip. I love to make it with Greek wraps or as a side for a dinner party, especially during the summer season as it’s super refreshing and takes no time to prepare.

You will need just a few simple ingredients that we can easily find in the fridge to make this delicious and universal sauce. Thick Greek yoghurt, English cucumber, fresh dill, lemon and salt and pepper. You can add garlic if you are not afraid of the extra kick.

Easy Tzatziki

We will simply shred the cucumber on the vegetable grater and make sure we drain it well. You can use cheesecloth if you have one at home or simply press it with your hand in the sieve a few times. This step is important as we don’t want the sauce to become too watery. Seasoned to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice will tie everything up beautifully.
